That's because the Star Annihlator doesn't exist. The Empire, mighty as it was, could barely afford to keep it's seven Super Star Destroyers running and pay for the Death Star's operation alongside their planetary interests. The Annihlator was just a concept which was to be built after the Sun Crusher, Galaxy Gun, and Death Star augumented Palpatine's fleet. With his death- multiple times- and the destruction of the doomsday devices already built, the Annihilator project was not only scrapped and abandoned but utterly forgotten. It had never garnered many resources anyway, and any sane warrior would have been just as content with more of the battle proven leviathan known as the S. S. D. as they would with a relatively useless behometh of ridiculously large proportions anyway.

Definitely, I consider the Death Star the Empire's greatest mistake.

Same here. Why destroy what you can conquer and subjugate? Why in the name of god would you waste all that time and effort on something as vile and banal as that construction?!

I dunno, I would rather conquer the whole a galaxy than blow it up, whats power by fear if you have nobody to fear you? Think of how more advanced they could have made the stormtroopers if they hadn't wasted all those credits on the death star. Maybe the stormtroopers that weren't previous clone troopers could aim to save their life through more expensive training or just better weapons. They could also afford armor for the troopers that weren't plastoid-composite, and maybe something like good DuroSteel plating.

EXACTLY!!! If they improved the Army instead of building a relatively pointless superweapon, the Empire would effectively rule the Galaxy. Instead they wasted their resources, technological advancements, and time to build a weapon who's purpose defeated the purpose of it's creators: to maintain order throughout the Empire and increase it's boundless domain. You don't do that with a Death Star. You do that with living beings, and you need to make certain with thoses beings that: A, they survive to complete their mission, and B, that they have the skills and equipment TO complete said tasks or mission. And as far as the replacing plastoid- AMEN, brother! Although I would go for some nice, expensive Mandalorian Beskar with a Durasteel/Katarn underweave and cortosis alloy on the outermost edges. Able to withstand anything, lightsabers and heavy weapons included- in fact, the only thing that it couldn't save you from was the bill for it. (*_*) You never know when a Force user will pop up. Also, TRAIN THE TROOPS! Take the Mando'ade helmet, or no helmet at all, and teach them to shoot! Yes... the Galaxy at your feet it would be...

Yes you are completely right... Oh well, see thats why my favorite character in Star Wars is the only one that makes sence, Boba Fett and any other thing related to Mandalorians. They seem to be the smart ones, only if they won the Mandalorian wars the galaxy would be awesome.

I just swarmed the rebels station with vaders tie and tie defenders ;P

You know whats sad? When your foe sends one or two hero units to your level 1 or 2 space station in GC that cant do own units in matches, and the few ties it generates from hangar is enough to beat them, did that to ackbar ships AND rogue squadron, i shouldve been creamed.

Or its just my good commanding and not just letting the cpu do it by itself, I tell my fleet to attack the hard points, mainly the shields and engines first. And if space station then hangar and shields.

Thats almost exactly how I do it, but I dont really concintrate on engines...just shields and weapons, I alwase have an Interdictor or two on standby if they try to escape heh.

If you look at the sides of my fleet here you'll see the Interdictors.

If I have one of those, then I jam their jump, but its strange, they can still escape even after you destroy their engines, the engines are helpful if they approaching your station.

Id move them over your super star destroyer, cause if I faced you, Id be destroying them first if they were on the sides. *waitin for ya to comment on own screens* =p
